ByteDance Doubao Seedream 5.0 Pro — the vendor's top image model for controllable creation: text-to-image, single-reference and multi-reference image-to-image (2-10 reference images), interactive editing by coordinates, boxes, or arrows, and layer decomposition that splits one image into a base plus up to 16 layers, each returned with its own size, z_index, and bounding box (set layer_decomposition=true). Single-image output only: no group (sequential) generation, web search, or streaming. Billed per output image by scene and pixel tier: single image at or under 2.61 MP is the base price; above 2.61 MP costs 2x; in layer decomposition every returned layer is billed separately at 0.5x (or 1x above 2.61 MP); reference images beyond the first add 1/15 of the base price each.
