Recharge & Refund Agreement
Last updated: August 1, 2026
This Recharge & Refund Agreement ("Agreement") governs how you add and use prepaid Credits on ChinaAPI (chinaapi.ai and dash.chinaapi.ai), a service operated by ApexNodes (Hong Kong) Limited. It supplements our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. By adding Credits you accept this Agreement.
1. Acceptance
By recharging your Account, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Agreement and to the Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not add Credits.
2. Definitions
- Credits / Balance — prepaid, U.S.-dollar-denominated value in your Account, used to pay for metered usage of the Service.
- Recharge / Top-up — adding Credits by making a payment or redeeming a code.
- Promotional Credits — Credits granted for free (for example, trial credit or bonuses), which are not purchased value.
3. Recharge Conditions
You must have a registered Account in good standing. Recharges are applied to the Account that makes the payment or redeems the code; Credits cannot be moved between Accounts.
The territorial rules in Section 3 of the Terms of Service apply to recharges: we do not offer the Service, or accept payment, from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, or mainland China.
4. Payment Methods
You may add Credits by:
- Card payment, processed by our payment provider or merchant of record;
- Local payment methods offered in your market — for example bank transfer, QR-code transfer, e-wallet, or cash-voucher payment. Availability varies by country and is shown at checkout; and/or
- Redemption code purchased from ChinaAPI and redeemed in the dashboard under Wallet → Redeem code.
Available methods are shown at checkout in your dashboard and may change over time. Where a payment provider or merchant of record collects tax, the amount is shown before you pay.
5. Amount, Pricing, and Promotions
5.1 The recharge amount is the amount you actually pay. Credits are denominated in U.S. dollars and applied to your Balance at the value shown at checkout. Where you pay in another currency, the conversion rate is set by your payment provider and shown at checkout.
5.2 Usage is charged against your Balance at the rates published at dash.chinaapi.ai/pricing, metered per usage (for example, by token count, request, or generated media). Rate changes apply only to future usage, as described in Section 6.2 of the Terms of Service.
5.3 Promotional Credits may be subject to conditions and expiry, are not purchased value, and are non-refundable and non-transferable.
6. Balance Usage
6.1 Credits are applied to your Account immediately after a successful payment or code redemption and are then available for use.
6.2 Purchased Credits do not expire and remain usable until consumed, subject to Account closure and to this Agreement.
6.3 Credits are non-transferable, cannot be exchanged or withdrawn for cash, and have no value outside the Service.
6.4 When your Balance reaches zero, requests will be declined until you add more Credits.
7. Invoicing
An invoice or receipt reflecting your actual usage or top-up can be provided on request. Contact [email protected] with your Account email and the transaction reference.
8. Refunds
8.1 Unused, purchased Credits are refundable on request within thirty (30) days of the purchase, less any non-recoverable payment-processing fees.
8.2 Consumed Credits (Credits already spent on usage) and Promotional Credits are non-refundable. When you send a request, the Service is performed immediately and the corresponding Credits are consumed at that moment.
8.3 To request a refund, contact [email protected] (or Telegram https://t.me/chinaapiai) from your registered email with your Account email and the transaction reference. We may request reasonable verification and will review each request.
8.4 Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days after approval. Refunds of redemption-code balances are returned by the original purchase channel.
8.5 Refunds may be refused where we reasonably determine that the Account has engaged in fraud, abuse, or a violation of the Terms of Service; in such cases the Balance may be withheld pending review.
8.6 If we close your Account for convenience rather than for cause, we will refund unused purchased Credits regardless of the thirty-day period in Section 8.1.
9. Statutory Withdrawal Rights
Some countries give consumers a statutory right to withdraw from a distance purchase within a set period — for example seven (7) days under Article 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code, and seven (7) days under Korean e-commerce law.
Where such a right applies to you, it applies in addition to this Agreement, and nothing here limits it.
In practice, the thirty-day refund on unused purchased Credits in Section 8.1 is longer than these statutory periods, so a withdrawal request for unused Credits will be handled under Section 8.1.
For Credits you have already consumed, the Service has been fully performed at your request at the moment each request was answered, which in most jurisdictions ends the withdrawal right for that portion. If you believe your local law gives you a broader right, contact us at [email protected] and we will review your request under that law.
10. Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first — most issues are resolved quickly. Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without contacting us may result in suspension of your Account pending resolution.
11. Governing Law and Disputes
11.1 The parties will first attempt to resolve any dispute informally through the contacts below.
11.2 This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and the courts of Hong Kong SAR have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
11.3 If you are a consumer, nothing in this Section deprives you of the protection of mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence, including any right to bring proceedings in your local courts where the law of that country gives you that right.
